Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
This policy explains how AuraLux LLC, doing business as AuraLux Lighting (“AuraLux,” “we,” “us”), collects and uses information when you visit auraluxlite.com, fill out one of our forms, respond to one of our ads, or call or text us. We’re a small home-services business based in Severance, Colorado, and we try to keep this simple.
What we collect
• Contact information: your name, phone number, email address, and home address. You give us this when you fill out a form on our website, submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form (Meta Instant Form), call us, or text us.
• Home details: information about your home and project, such as approximate roofline length, number of stories, and what you’re looking for.
• Photos: pictures of your house that you choose to send us by text, email, or form upload.
• How you heard about us: for example, a Facebook or Instagram ad, Google, a neighbor, or a yard sign.
• Messages and call details: the content of texts and emails you send us, and basic call records (such as the number and time of a call).
• Website usage information: like most websites, our site and its tools collect technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and IP address. See “Cookies and the Meta Pixel” below.
How we use it
We use your information to:
• prepare your quote and any design previews;
• schedule measurements, consultations, and installation;
• call, text, or email you about your request and follow up on it;
• provide service after installation; and
• understand which of our ads and marketing actually bring in customers, so we spend our advertising budget wisely.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
• Squarespace: hosts our website and forms.
• Google: email and related business tools.
• Quo: our business phone system for calls and texts.
• Zapier: moves form submissions between our tools automatically.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): runs our ads, collects information you submit in Meta lead forms, and measures ad results through the Meta Pixel and, where we use it, Meta's Conversions API.
• Acorn Finance: only if you choose to apply for financing yourself through Acorn. We don't submit applications on your behalf. Acorn's own privacy policy applies to what you give them.
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. This includes the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta that tells Meta when someone who saw our ad visits our site or submits a request. We use it to measure whether our ads are working and to show our ads to people more likely to be interested. Meta may also use this information as described in its own data policy. We may also send similar ad-measurement events to Meta from our systems (Meta's Conversions API).
You can limit this tracking:
• Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies.
• Meta ad preferences: if you use Facebook or Instagram, you can adjust how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Meta account settings (Ad Preferences and “Your activity off Meta technologies”).
• Cookie banner: if our site shows a cookie banner, you can decline non-essential cookies there.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we'll text you about your quote, appointment, and project. Message frequency varies.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
• Reply HELP for help, or call (970) 205-9175.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• We do not share your mobile number or text-message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as we need it to provide your quote and service, handle any warranty or service questions, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as access controls and password-protected accounts with our service providers. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Colorado residents
If the Colorado Privacy Act applies to us and to your information, you may have the right to:
• confirm whether we process your personal data and access it;
• correct inaccurate personal data;
• delete your personal data;
• get a copy of your personal data in a portable format; and
• opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.
These rights apply only where the law requires. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our response. Even where the law doesn't require it, we're happy to answer questions about your information and delete it when we reasonably can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
